Text Appearance

Most important part of web design is the color, fonts and background. In this section, I will be talking about text appearance. You want to write so people can see it. Depends on the color and the background of the web site. Use black text on a plain background can make it easier and faster reading performance. By reading black text on white background up to thirty-tow percent and greater the contrast between the text and ground. Some web tried to use moving or animated objects. Not too much moving objects, it start annoyed people so fast. Having some text and graphic items in brighter colors, and others in darker colors, can help the relative importance of elements.
Making the fonts too big or too small. People can’t see too well and better to use at least fourteen-point fonts. The popular of size is 12. Using different kind of fonts may change depends on upon the physical size of the monitor’s pixels or different styles of fonts? Participants were able to complete tasks faster when the interface contained either color-coding or a form of ranking, but not both.
Guideline:
1.      When users are expected to rapidly read and understand prose text, use black text on a plain, high-contrast, non-patterned background.
2.      Use attention-attracting features with caution and only when they are highly relevant
3.      Use at least a 12-point font (e.g., typeface) on all Web pages.
4.      Do not use two (or more) different ways to highlight the same information on one page.
